Module I: Lay your Foundation {June 2-8 2018}
Deepen your practice and understanding of functional movement through classes, anatomy modules and asana labs, and begin to dive into the potent offerings from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
• Daily pranayama, meditation, mantra, chanting + asana practice
• Anatomy modules:
   o Planes of Movement
   o Anatomy of the Heat
   o Anatomy of the Breath

• Asana labs to explore asana and alignment in Surya Namaskar a + b and Standing poses
• Introduction to Krama, the why behind Tapasya Hot-Hatha and Hatha-Vinyasa Sequence
• Introduction to the Tapasya Yoga Teaching Methodology
• Introduction to Pranayama + Meditation
• Philosophy: The Yoga Sutras, and the Eight Limbs of Yoga
• Practice Teaching
Module II: Integrate + Transform {June 30 - July 6 2018}
This will be an immersion into anatomy, asana, pranayama, meditation, teaching methodology, and a deepening of your understanding of yoga philosophy. Your why informs who you are and how you show up as a teacher in the world. How you place yourself (spiritually and physically) will be your GPS, and will forever navigate you.
• Daily pranayama, meditation, mantra, chanting + asana practice
• Anatomy modules: Group Anatomy Slam: Foot/Ankle/Knee, Hip, Hand/Wrist/Arm, Shoulder, Skull/Spine/Bones/Joints, Core, Muscle Tissue + Connective Tissue
• Anatomy modules: Introduction to Energetic Anatomy and the Subtle Body
• Asana Labs to explore asana and alignment in complex poses such as twists, arm balances and inversions
• Teaching Methodology + teaching skills
• Sequencing for Hot-Hatha, Hatha and Hatha-Vinyasa classes
• Philosophy: Completion of The Yoga Sutras
• Practice Teaching + feedback to hone your skills
Module III: Skill in Action {August 4 - 10 2018}
Take the seat of the teacher; hone, refine and take action with your teaching skills.
• Daily pranayama, meditation, mantra, chanting + asana practice
• Application of the Tapasya teaching Methodology and advanced teaching skills such as language, voice, concise cuing, space holding
• Theming skills
• Anatomy modules: Introduction to Injuries + Pregnancy
• Asana labs to explore the alignment of complex backbends, seated poses, and supine poses
• Introduction to Hands On Assists
• Philosophy: The Bhagavad Gita
• Philosophy: History of Yoga
• Philosophy: Ethical principles for Yoga Teachers
• Introduction to Ayurveda and other self-care practices
• The business of yoga and what's next
• Teaching Practicum and Evaluation

Investment: 

Full training:

$2500 + GST = $2625 if deposit paid by February 28th 2018

$3000 + GST = $3150 if deposit paid by March 31st 2018

$3500 + GST = $3675 if deposit paid after March 31st 2018


++ Investment includes a $500 non-refundable deposit ++

Cancellation Policy:
Before May 1 2018: 100% refund, minus non-refundable deposit.
After May 1 2018: 50% refund, minus non-refundable deposit.
After May 27 2018: No refunds, credits or transfers.

How to Apply
Step 1. Prerequisites

-Have been practicing yoga for at least 6 months prior to the training.

-Participants must be physically fit (beginners or those working with injuries are welcome. Modifications and variations of postures will be offered).

-Be fluent in writing, reading and speaking English

Step 3. Pay the Registration Fee
If you receive an acceptance email, you must confirm your spot by paying the remaining balance of the $500+tax non-refundable deposit within 10 days ($450 +tax after application fee). The non-refundable registration fee can be paid online or at one of the studios.

ABOUT-KCShort Biography:
My friends call me KC, Mama-K, Kristin-Campbell, Krispy… I am a woman with many pseudonyms, take your pick.

When I’m not teaching you might find me being wowed by my zany daughter, bouncing on a trampoline, picking snap peas off the vine, bbqing with friends, going for a fabulous coffee, or ‘nature bathing’ in the beauty of my surroundings in Squamish, BC. In addition to all things yoga, I keep myself active with crossfit, biking, hiking, trail running, snowboarding, and occasional all night dance parties.

Living Ayurvedically is a passion of mine. Ayur = Life, Veda = Knowledge. Living according to the daily and seasonal rhythms is intuitive, accessible and simple. Ayurveda is considered kitchen medicine. Treat the body first with food. That said, I am obsessed with the power and healing potential of food! I love it all, from kitchari to oil pulling with coconut oil, from superfoods to roasted yams, from watermelon radishes to caribou medallions with black cherry compote, to water-kefir, get in my belly! In Sept 2015 I partnered with a friend in Squamish Water Kefir Co, we are proud of our delicious product and its ability to bring healthy probiotics and digestive enzymes to kitchen tables in our community.

I bow humbly at the lotus feet of my daughter, my teachers, friends, peers and students who continue to be a deep well of knowledge and support.
